Five Sense Therapies

  • Ayurvedic Nutrition is a holistic approach to eating that aligns with your unique mind-body constitution (dosha) and the rhythms of nature. It emphasizes fresh, seasonal, and wholesome foods prepared with mindful intention to promote balance, digestion, and vitality. By understanding your dosha, you can choose foods, spices, and meal timings that restore harmony, boost energy, and support overall well-being.

  • Ayurvedic digestive herbal therapy uses time-tested herbs and spices to support and balance Agni, the digestive fire, which is central to health and vitality. Digestive herbs are tailored to your unique dosha, helping to improve digestion, reduce toxins (ama), and promote nutrient absorption. This gentle yet powerful approach restores harmony to the digestive system, enhancing overall well-being.

  • Self-Abhyanga is a nourishing self-massage practice that uses warm, dosha-specific oils to promote relaxation, circulation, and detoxification. This daily ritual calms the nervous system, strengthens immunity, and enhances skin health, creating a deep sense of grounding and connection to your body. It’s a beautiful act of self-love that supports overall balance and vitality.

  • Ayurvedic Nasya and Neti are practices that support respiratory health and mental clarity. Neti involves cleansing the nasal passages with warm saline water, while Nasya uses herbal oils to lubricate, protect, and balance the nasal cavity. Together, these therapies clear toxins (ama), enhance breath flow, and support the health of the sinuses, mind, and senses.

  • Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy utilizes Yoga as medicine to help restore the balance of energy in your body and mind and to maximize your healing potential. This is accomplished by correcting imbalances in the three Doshas of the body.

  • Meditation and Yoga Nidra are transformative practices that calm the mind, reduce stress, and promote deep relaxation. Meditation fosters mindfulness and inner peace, while Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, guides you into a state of profound rest and self-awareness. Together, they restore balance, enhance mental clarity, and nurture overall well-being.

  • Pranayama, the practice of conscious breathing, balances the doshas by harmonizing the flow of prana (life force) within the body. Specific techniques supports each dosha—calming Vata, cooling Pitta, and energizing Kapha. A daily pranayama practice restores balance, boosts vitality, and supports overall mental and physical well-being.

  • Sound Therapy uses the healing power of sound vibrations to restore balance and harmony in the body and mind. Through techniques like chanting, mantra repetition, and sound baths, it aligns the energy centers (chakras) and clears blockages, promoting relaxation, mental clarity, and emotional well-being.

  • In Ayurveda, Color Therapy is used to balance the body's energies by harnessing the healing properties of specific colors. Each color corresponds to a dosha and element, and is applied through visual exposure, clothing, or environment to restore harmony, support healing, and enhance emotional and physical well-being.

  • Gem Therapy in Ayurveda utilizes the healing properties of gemstones to restore balance and promote well-being. Each gemstone is believed to correspond to specific doshas and energy centers, and by wearing or placing them on the body, they help harmonize the mind, body, and spirit, support healing, and enhance vitality.

  • Chakra Healing is a practice aimed at balancing the body's seven energy processing centers to restore overall well-being. Each chakra is linked to different physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life. When chakras become blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to illness or emotional distress. Healing techniques such as meditation, visualization, breathwork, sound therapy, and specific lifestyle practices are used to restore the flow of energy, promote inner harmony, and enhance vitality.

  • Ayurvedic Aromatherapy uses the therapeutic power of essential oils to restore balance and promote well-being. By selecting oils based on your dosha, Ayurvedic aromatherapy helps address physical, emotional, and mental imbalances. These natural scents, used in diffusers, massages, or baths, support relaxation, boost energy, enhance mood, and align the body’s energy with nature.
